Robbed! Well Not Really.

My car was broken into last night. I can’t say anything was stolen. What I can say is this is the stupidest crime ever committed and I think I’d rather go to jail than live with the shame of having broken into a car to steal a GPS, not finding a GPS, then just taking the GPS mount that indicated a GPS may have been in the car and leaving everything else.

Throughout the day I thought of things to catch our mentally deficient criminal. For instance, put a sign on my car that says “ENJOY THE GPS MOUNT, LOL”. Then I can buy a webcam and point it outside at my car and get some footage of him bashing my window again since he’d realize I was mocking him. I’m assuming it had to be someone on my street since no one would really just be passing by. Out of the 3.5 years of living here it’s the first time anything like this has happened, Somerville is just going downhill.

Don’t people usually size up a car beforehand? I mean, no offense, but looking at these pictures, I don’t think, right away, “Yeah, let’s rob the crap outta that. That car undoubtedly is crammed with loot.”

What a loser, this person.

Either that or they are 1) a d-bag and 2) was in desperate need of a gps mount. In which case, they succeeded with honors.
